From time to time the Legislature may appropriate funds to be used for the purposes of this article. All expenses incurred in carrying out the provisions of this article shall be payable solely from funds of the authority or from funds appropriated to the authority for such purpose by the Legislature. Such article does not authorize the authority to incur indebtedness or liability on behalf of or payable by the state.
Terms Used In West Virginia Code 5D-1-9
- Authority: means the West Virginia public energy authority created in section four of this article, the duties, powers, responsibilities and functions of which are specified in this article. See West Virginia Code 5D-1-3
- State: when applied to a part of the United States and not restricted by the context, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" also include the said district and territories. See West Virginia Code 2-2-10
