There is appropriated, from the conservation fund, or from other funds if so indicated, to the Fox River Navigational System Authority for the following program:

  • Appropriation: The provision of funds, through an annual appropriations act or a permanent law, for federal agencies to make payments out of the Treasury for specified purposes. The formal federal spending process consists of two sequential steps: authorization
  • Following: when used by way of reference to any statute section, means the section next following that in which the reference is made. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
  • Land: includes lands, tenements and hereditaments and all rights thereto and interests therein. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
   (1)   Initial costs.
      (g)    Administration, operation, repair, and rehabilitation. From the general fund, all moneys received from the sale of surplus land under 2005 Wisconsin Act 25, section 9105 (14q) except as provided in s. 13.48 (14) (am) or 16.848 (1), to be used for administration of the authority and the operation, repair, and rehabilitation of the Fox River lock system.
      (r)    Establishment and operation. As a continuing appropriation, the amounts in the schedule for the establishment of the Fox River Navigational System Authority and for the initial costs of operating the Fox River Navigational System Authority and the Fox River navigational system.
