- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
The share of any ward shall be paid to the guardian of the estate of the ward, except under s. 54.12 (1) or s. 880.04 (2), 2003 stats.
