- Personal representative: means a person, however denominated, who is authorized to administer a decedent's estate. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
When the personal representative petitions for a ruling or order in regard to any matter connected with the administration of the estate, the court, after hearing on notice under s. 879.03 shall make a ruling or grant or deny the petition by order.
