Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 938.364

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Dismissal: The dropping of a case by the judge without further consideration or hearing. Source:
  • Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.

A juvenile, the juvenile’s parent, guardian, or legal custodian, or the district attorney or corporation counsel in the county in which the dispositional order was entered may request the court to dismiss an order under s. 938.342 (2) if the juvenile shows documentary proof that he or she is enrolled in a school program or a high school equivalency program. The court may also propose such a dismissal.
