Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 16:5-21

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Every member of the congregation in good standing shall be a member of the corporation but only those members who are authorized to vote by the by-laws of the corporation shall be entitled to vote.
