- Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
- State: extends to and includes any State, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia and the Canal Zone. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
- Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
Nothing contained in this subtitle shall be construed as authorizing the sale, gift, furnishing or disposition of any article, substance, admixture or patent or proprietary remedy, the sale, gift, furnishing or disposition of which is prohibited, except upon prescription, by any statute of this state.
