Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 27:7-22.3

  • Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
  • State: extends to and includes any State, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia and the Canal Zone. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
The State Highway Commissioner is hereby authorized to acquire by gift, purchase, or condemnation the right of access to traffic circles, grade separations and channelized intersections, and to ramp devices to facilitate connections thereto, existing or to be constructed within the State highway system.
