Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 19.59.002

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

A person who violates a provision of Alaska Stat. Chapter 19.05Alaska Stat. Chapter 19.25, other than a provision of Alaska Stat. § 19.25.08019.25.180, is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction is punishable by a fine of not less than $10 nor more than $500, or by imprisonment in jail for a period not to exceed one year, or by both.
