• Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
• association: includes a foreign savings association doing business in this state under an approval issued by the commissioner. See California Financial Code 8030
• clinic: means a primary care clinic as defined in Section 1200. See California Health and Safety Code 124480
• Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
• department: means State Department of Health Services. See California Health and Safety Code 20
• Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
• Person: means any person, firm, association, organization, partnership, business trust, corporation, limited liability company, or company. See California Health and Safety Code 19
• Primary Care Services Act: means Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 124400), Chapter 2 (commencing with Section 124475), Chapter 3 (commencing with Section 124550), Chapter 4 (commencing with Section 124575), Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 124600), Chapter 6 (commencing with Section 124800), and Article 1 (commencing with Section 124875) of Chapter 7 of, Part 4 of Division 106.
