Complete operation and authority for administration of the youth correctional center shall be vested in the county. The board of supervisors shall place responsibility for internal management with the chief probation officer.

  • board: means the Board of Parole Hearings, until January 1, 2007, at which time "board" shall refer to the body created to hear juvenile parole matters under the jurisdiction of the Director of the Division of Juvenile Justice in the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
