(1) Garbage and refuse shall be stored, collected and disposed of in a manner that does not create nuisances, odors, rodent harborage, insect breeding, accident hazards, or air pollution.

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
    (2) All garbage shall be stored in containers that are impervious to water and rodent vectors and have tight-fitting lids. Containers shall be provided in number to prevent garbage overflow. Portable bulk units for central storage shall be covered when not in use and cleaned on a scheduled basis.
    (3) All garbage shall be collected twice weekly or in accordance with the frequency of the collection jurisdiction and transported in covered vehicles or covered containers. Burning of refuse in the park or camp is prohibited, except in incinerators for which the design and location has been approved by the Department of Environmental Protection. Refuse shall be transported and disposed of in accordance with provisions of Fl. Admin. Code Chapter 62-701, Solid Waste Management Facilities.
