Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 261-23

  • Airport: means any area of land or water which is used, or intended for use, for the landing and takeoff of aircraft, and any appurtenant areas which are used, or intended for use, for airport buildings or other airport facilities or rights-of-way, including approaches, together with all airport buildings and facilities located thereon. All that area set aside by executive order No. 1016 for John Rodgers Airport and Keehi Lagoon Seaplane Harbor to be under the control and management of the superintendent of public works under date of April 12, 1943, is designated as the “Daniel K. Inouye International Airport”.
