     The Department has the power and authority to enter into agreements with appropriate federal agencies in order to better effect cooperative undertakings in the conservation, preservation, distribution, and propagation of fish, mussels, frogs, turtles, game, wild animals, wild fowls, birds, trees, plants, and forests. The Department’s agreements with the United States government may include general indemnification provisions.
