  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Municipalities: has the meaning established in Section 1 of Article VII of the Constitution of the State of Illinois of 1970. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.27
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     Public boat launching facilities; artificial water impoundments. The Department has the power to cooperate and contract with municipalities, counties, or other local governmental units to construct and operate public boat launching facilities on the public waters of this State and to build roads and parking areas in connection therewith and to participate with all such governmental units in planning and constructing artificial water impoundments for recreational purposes.
