Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 620 ILCS 20/5

  • Personal property: All property that is not real property.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     The Intergovernmental Agreement executed by any county or municipality under the “Intergovernmental Cooperation Act” to establish and operate an airport and its facilities shall provide for the manner of its termination and disposal of real and personal property and the proceeds of the disposal of real and personal property; provided, however, that the right of either a county or a municipality to terminate the Intergovernmental Agreement shall be abrogated if the county and/or the municipality have entered into an agreement with the State or federal government or any other person for the expansion or capital improvement of the airport or its facilities which obligates the county and the municipality to continue to maintain and operate the airport and its facilities for the contracted period of years and termination shall not be effected until such time as the agreement between the county and/or the municipality and the State or federal government or other person shall expire.
