Terms Used In Indiana Code 16-25-5-6
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
Sec. 6. A person aggrieved by an action of the state department under this article may appeal the action under IC 4-21.5-5.
