Terms Used In Iowa Code 633.257
- Property: includes both real and personal property. See Iowa Code 633.3
- security: includes , but is not limited to, a certificated security, an uncertificated security, and a security account. See Iowa Code 633D.2
- Surviving spouse: means the surviving wife or husband, as the case may be. See Iowa Code 633.3
If no such arrangement is made, the surviving spouse may keep the property by giving like security to pay the claims of all others interested upon like terms.
