- person: means individual, corporation, limited liability company, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership or association, or any other legal entity. See Iowa Code 4.1
804.18 Taking weapons.
Any person who makes an arrest may take from the person arrested all items which are
capable of causing bodily harm which the arrested person may have within the arrested person’s control to be disposed of according to law.
