Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 2-2481

  • Pesticide: means , but is not limited to, (1) any substance or mixture of substances used to prevent, destroy, control, repel, attract or mitigate any pest and (2) any substance or mixture of substances intended to be used as a plant regulator, defoliant or desiccant.   • Secretary: means the secretary of agriculture. See Kansas Statutes 2-2438a

Documentation required under the provisions of the Kansas pesticide law, or any rule or regulation adopted under it, may be created and maintained in paper or electronic format, or a combination of both. Documents shall be provided upon request to the secretary or the secretary’s designee in the format selected by the secretary or the secretary’s designee. Any required document created or maintained in an electronic format shall be capable of being reproduced in a readable paper format.
