Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 44-807

  • labor organization: means any organization of any kind, or any agency or employee representation committee or plan, which exists for the purpose, in whole or in part, of dealing with employers concerning grievances, labor disputes, wages, rates of pay, hours of employment, or conditions of work. See Kansas Statutes 44-802
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

The secretary of state shall prepare and keep a register or proper record showing the date of filing of the application provided for in Kan. Stat. Ann. § 44-804, the name of the licensee, and of the labor organization for whom he will act as agent, and shall receive, file and properly index the documents provided for in Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 44-805 and 44-806. The records provided for herein shall be made available by the secretary of state to all persons for examination and taking of copies.
