There is hereby created in the state treasury the criminal justice information system line fund. All moneys credited to the criminal justice information system line fund shall be used by the Kansas bureau of investigation for the purpose of providing communications lines, outlets and terminals to each county for the Kansas criminal justice information system, as required by Kan. Stat. Ann. § 74-5702, and amendments thereto. All expenditures from the criminal justice information system line fund shall be made in accordance with appropriation acts, upon warrants of the director of accounts and reports issued pursuant to vouchers approved by the director of the Kansas bureau of investigation or the director’s designee.
