Terms Used In Maryland Code, HEALTH - GENERAL 24-2007
- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
An individual who violates § 24-2005 or § 24-2006 of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $500 or imprisonment not exceeding 90 days or both.
