- Person: includes an individual, receiver, trustee, guardian, personal representative, fiduciary, representative of any kind, corporation, partnership, business trust, statutory trust, limited liability company, firm, association, or other nongovernmental entity. See

A person may not, without just cause, fail or refuse to obey a subpoena issued under § 8-306(c) or § 8-5A-06(b) of this title if the person has the power to obey the subpoena.
