  • Docket: A log containing brief entries of court proceedings.
  • seal: shall be construed to include any of the following:
    (a) The impression of the seal on the paper alone. See Michigan Laws 8.3n
     The proceedings under this act shall be deemed matters of record, but the same shall not be required to be recorded at large, but shall be carefully filed, kept and numbered, being fastened together in the clerk’s office, and a docket, calendar or short memorandum thereof, with the numbers, kept in a book by the clerk; and the clerk for affixing his name and the seal of the court to any form or paper, or certifying a copy thereof, shall be entitled to receive as compensation $1.00 per page.
