Terms Used In Montana Code > Title 7 > Chapter 14 > Part 2 - Urban Transportation Districts

  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • Board: means the board of transportation of any district created under this part. See Montana Code 7-14-202
  • Commissioners: means the board of county commissioners or other governing body of a county. See Montana Code 7-14-202
  • District: means any transportation district created under this part. See Montana Code 7-14-202
  • Ex officio: Literally, by virtue of one's office.
  • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
  • Property: means real and personal property. See Montana Code 1-1-205
  • Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
  • Real property: means lands, tenements, hereditaments, and possessory title to public lands. See Montana Code 1-1-205
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Montana Code 1-1-201
  • Testimony: Evidence presented orally by witnesses during trials or before grand juries.
