Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 376:3-b
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- department: means the department of safety. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 376:2
- vanpooling: means an arrangement for the transportation of persons to and from work on a nonprofit basis utilizing a motor vehicle manufactured primarily for use in transporting not less than 8 people and not more than 15 people, whose operator must be 18 years of age or older and must hold a vanpool operator's permit. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 376:2
Each vehicle operated in vanpooling service shall comply with the safety requirements as issued by the department applicable to common and contract carriers of passengers for hire.
