- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
Each state bank and credit union shall have a board of directors elected or appointed in accordance with its organizational documents. No director shall serve on a board until he or she accepts his or her election or appointment in writing, which acceptance shall be maintained in the records of the state bank or credit union.
