  • Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
Any such grant of right of flowage and the conditions upon which the same is made shall be evidenced by deed executed in the name of the state by the governor and attested by the secretary of state and recorded in the county where the property is situated.
