- Department: means the department of environmental services. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 482:2
- Public law: A public bill or joint resolution that has passed both chambers and been enacted into law. Public laws have general applicability nationwide.
All property and rights acquired by the department for projects in cooperation with federal agencies as provided for under Public Law 566 and pursuant to N.H. Rev. Stat. § 482:75 which are nonrevenue-producing shall be exempt from all taxation and shall not be subject to the provisions of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 481:14.
