- State: extends to and includes any State, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia and the Canal Zone. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
a. This act shall be known and may be cited as the “State Flood Control Facilities Act.” b. It is hereby declared that the State deems it advisable to participate in a program of flood control in the State of New Jersey in the manner hereinafter described. L.1948, c. 351, p. 1409, s. 1.
