Any court having jurisdiction to place delinquent children may place such a child in an institution in another state pursuant to Article 3 of the Revised Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children [32A-11-1 N.M. Stat. Ann.] and shall retain jurisdiction as provided in Article 4 of that compact.
