A search of an individual who is reasonably believed to be dead or near death for a document of gift or other information identifying the individual as a donor or as an individual who made a refusal, and, if applicable, notification of the hospital to which the individual is taken, shall be governed by N.C. Gen. Stat. § 90-602 ?(2007-538, s. 1; 2008-153, s. 2.)
