Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 14-307
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. There shall be no State, county, or municipal tax levied for the privilege of operating the machines or devices the operation of which is prohibited by N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-304 through 14-309. (1937, c. 196, s. 4.)
