- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. The Board of Boiler Rules and the Bureau of Boiler Inspection, as contained in Article 7 of Chapter 95 of the N.C. Gen. Stat. and the laws of this State, are hereby transferred by a Type I transfer to the Department of Labor. (1971, c. 864, s. 10.)
