No domestic or foreign professional corporation may do any act which is prohibited to a person licensed to render the professional service or services for which the corporation is organized. [1969 c.592 § 16; 1987 c.94 § 24; 1993 c.235 § 13]
Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 58.205
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, firms, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint stock companies. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
- Professional service: means personal service or services rendered in this state to the public which may be lawfully rendered only pursuant to a license by a professional. See Oregon Statutes 58.015
