Collaborative: means "Made in Rhode Island Manufacturing Collaborative of 2013" established under § 42-64. See Rhode Island General Laws 42-64.15-3
Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Creative sector: means innovative art and design based businesses that primarily design and manufacture a physical product, rather than a digital product or service, operating within the state of Rhode Island. See Rhode Island General Laws 42-64.15-3
Locally manufactured: means products manufactured or produced within the state of Rhode Island. See Rhode Island General Laws 42-64.15-3
Manufactured goods: means the process of taking raw materials or components and adding value to those materials and components in order to create a final, recognizable product that has been created through the use of hands, machinery, tools, appliances, and other similar equipment. See Rhode Island General Laws 42-64.15-3
Oversight: Committee review of the activities of a Federal agency or program.
Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
