Tennessee Code > Title 40 > Chapter 34 > § 40-34-104 - Coordination of contract sentencing program

The governor shall appoint a person to coordinate the contract sentencing program whose duties shall include acting as spokesperson and advocate for prisoners. The coordinator shall receive reasonable compensation for the work and reimbursements for travel expenses in accordance with the provisions of the comprehensive travel regulations promulgated by the department of finance and administration and approved by the attorney general and reporter, pursuant to § 4-3-1008.
