Terms Used In Tennessee Code 44-16-207

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • Person: includes every person, partnership, firm, company, association, society, public auction, community sale, sale pavilion, syndicate, and corporation. See Tennessee Code 44-16-205

Any person who violates any of the provisions of this part commits a Class C misdemeanor, but if the violation occurs after a conviction has become final, the person’s license shall be revoked.
