- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A person who sells securities or who renders investment advising services after the person’s registration has expired but before the registration is renewed is subject to the sanctions provided by this title for selling securities or rendering investment advice without being registered.
