26B-1-210. Department budget — Reports from divisions.

The department shall prepare and submit to the governor, for inclusion in the governor’s budget to be submitted to the Legislature, a budget of the department’s financial requirements needed to carry out the department’s responsibilities, as provided by law during the fiscal year following the Legislature’s next Annual General Session. |
Terms Used In Utah Code 26B-1-210
- Executive director: means the executive director of the department appointed under Section 26B-1-203. See Utah Code 26B-1-102
- Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.

The executive director shall require a report from each of the divisions and offices of the department, to aid in preparation of the departmental budget. |
