26B-2-103. Office of Licensing — Appointment — Qualifications of director.

(1)	There is created the Office of Licensing within the department.

Director: means the director of the office. See Utah Code 26B-2-101
Executive director: means the executive director of the department appointed under Section 26B-1-203. See Utah Code 26B-1-102
Office: means the Office of Licensing within the department. See Utah Code 26B-2-101

(2)

The office shall be the licensing authority for the department, and is vested with all the powers, duties, and responsibilities described in:

(a)	this part;

(b)

2; and

(c)

(3)	The executive director shall appoint the director of the office.

(4)	The director shall have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, be experienced in administration, and be knowledgeable of health and human services licensing.
