Terms Used In Utah Code 54-8a-5.8
- Excavator: means any person or entity that excavates or conducts excavation activities. See Utah Code 54-8a-2
- Property: includes both real and personal property. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
An excavator may enter or access an owner’s property or dwelling to locate a sewer lateral with the owner’s permission.
