Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 30 Sec. 406

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Person: shall include any natural person, corporation, municipality, the State of Vermont or any department, agency, or subdivision of the State, and any partnership, unincorporated association, or other legal entity. See

§ 406. Penalty

A person, firm, or corporation who violates a provision of sections 404 and 405 of this title shall be subject to penalties in the same manner as a violation of 10 Vt. Stat. Ann. chapter 43. (Amended 2017, No. 74, § 126.)
