Agency: means any branch, department or unit of the state government, however designated or constituted. See West Virginia Code 20-1-2
Appropriation: The provision of funds, through an annual appropriations act or a permanent law, for federal agencies to make payments out of the Treasury for specified purposes. The formal federal spending process consists of two sequential steps: authorization
Commissioner: means a member of the advisory commission of the Natural Resources Commission. See West Virginia Code 20-1-2
Director: means the Director of the Division of Natural Resources. See West Virginia Code 20-1-2
Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
State: when applied to a part of the United States and not restricted by the context, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" also include the said district and territories. See West Virginia Code 2-2-10
