In the exercise of the powers conferred upon a receiver by this chapter, a receiver shall act under the direction and supervision of the court by which the receiver was appointed and shall be subject at all times to the orders and decrees of such court and may be removed by it.

- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
Nothing contained in this chapter shall limit or restrict the jurisdiction of such court to enter such other and further orders and decrees as it may deem necessary or appropriate for the exercise by the receiver of any functions specifically set forth in this chapter.
