Terms Used In 17 Guam Code Ann. § 30103
- Public law: A public bill or joint resolution that has passed both chambers and been enacted into law. Public laws have general applicability nationwide.
This Division shall be construed in accordance with the following statement of legislative intent. It is the legislative intent in enacting this Division to:
(a) consolidate and strengthen many of the existing manpower training programs administered by the government of Guam under one (1) governing board to avoid expensive duplication of functions;
(b) expand and strengthen career education within the Territory; (c) expand short-term and extension programs in skill training;
and

NOTE: Public Law 14-77:15 provided that the Guam Community College would cease to exist on July 1, 1983. Public Law 16-108 repealed P.L. 14-77:15 and provided that “”the Guam Community College shall continue to operate indefinitely.””
