(1) It is the expectation of the Legislative Assembly that all state-owned and state-maintained veterans’ facilities, memorials for honoring veterans and war memorials be in clean condition and good repair for Memorial Day, Veterans Day and any ceremony or other event that may be held to commemorate Memorial Day or Veterans Day.

(2) The Director of Veterans’ Affairs shall communicate to all state agencies in advance of every Memorial Day and Veterans Day the expectations described in subsection (1) of this section. [2023 c.345 § 2]
