(1) The System of Care Account is established in the State Treasury, separate and distinct from the General Fund. All moneys deposited in the account are continuously appropriated to the Oregon Health Authority for the purpose of supporting the duties of the System of Care Advisory Council established under ORS § 418.978, as directed by the council.

  • State Treasury: includes those financial assets the lawful custody of which are vested in the State Treasurer and the office of the State Treasurer relating to the custody of those financial assets. See Oregon Statutes 174.100

(2) The authority may not expend moneys that are appropriated to or otherwise made available to the authority under this section except as directed by the council. [2019 c.616 § 5; 2021 c.670 § 4]
