A member of the board of supervisors of any county, or a mayor or member of a city council of any city within any county, in the district may be appointed to and serve contemporaneously as a member of the regional planning board.

- Board: as used in this chapter , means the regional planning board. See California Government Code 65060.4
- City: includes "city and county" and "incorporated town" but does not include "unincorporated town" or "village. See California Government Code 20
- County: includes city and county. See California Government Code 19
- District: as used in this chapter , means a district created and operating under this chapter. See California Government Code 65060.3
